Mock Classes

Experiment with Psychology with Professor Jennifer Cooper
Join the psychology faculty and students to discover how our minds work. Hands-on activities and discussion related to memory, perception, mental health and more are available for you to try out. Learn about some of the topics our psychology students study.

Yankees Suck! The Secret Life of Sport Fans with Professor Annemarie Ferrell
Sports fandom is equal parts passion, psychology, and profit—and we’re exploring it all! In this lively class, we’ll uncover what makes fans loyal for life, how rivalries get under our skin, and the marketing moves that turn those emotions into ticket sales, merch buys, and sold-out stadiums. Expect laughs, surprising research, and maybe a little good-natured trash talk.

Can you Win an Election? with Professor Scott Ferson

What strategies and messages win elections? The class explores what works, and what doesn’t, in a collaborative, non-partisan setting.

Grotto Candle Making with Fr. Aaron Morris

A hands-on learning experience, come learn about Stonehill’s Grotto and its importance on campus. Learn about how we make our grotto candles and then make a grotto candle!

Haunting at the Hill

Join Stonehill's Director of Archives and Historical Collections Nicole Casper to hear about the tales and legends of Stonehill to kick off the beginning of the Fall Season. All are welcome!

Jostens Ring Sales

Calling all Class of 2026 and 2027! If you are interested in looking at and purchasing your Stonehill Class Rings, we will have a rep from Jostens Ring Company here for the Festivities! Review designs, prices, and ask all the questions you need to make an informed purchasing decision.

Shovel Museum Tour

Join the Stonehill Archives Department on a tour of the historic Ames Shovel Collection, consisting of over 700+ shovels in Cushing-Martin Hall! Learn about Stonehill's history and connection to the Ames Family Shovel Company. All are welcome!

Mentalist Eric Dittelman with an opening act from Stonehill's Girls from the Hill & Surround Sound

Ever wonder what it would be like to know what someone else was thinking? What if you knew exactly what someone else was going to do before they did it? Eric Dittelman knows what that’s like and has been reading minds at colleges, comedy clubs, and private events all across the country. As seen as a Top Ten finalist on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”, Eric Dittelman combines amazing mind reading with stand-up and improvisational comedy. Whether playing a round of Pictionary while Eric’s eyes are duct taped shut or having a personal thought revealed from their minds, audience members become part of the show and leave with a fun experience that they’ll never forget.

Opening at 8:30 p.m., hear two of our a cappella groups, Girls from the Hill and Surround Sound, perform!

Brother Mike's On Location will be serving beer and seltzer wine for those 21+ (cash/credit accepted).
