MacPháidín Library, Stonehill’s research hub, is named in honor of Fr. Bartley MacPháidín, C.S.C., the College’s 18th president. The 62,000 square-foot building opened in 1998 and houses the library’s circulating, reference and Irish Government document collections and serves as a U.S. Government Documents Depository. Additionally, MacPháidín Library is home to the college’s digital lab, Center for Writing and Academic Achievement, and Ace’s Place – the library café.
