Biochemistry Honors, Organizations & Awards
Outstanding students majoring in Biochemistry may graduate “with Honors” if they meet certain criteria in their degree track, including a high grade-point average and successful completion of a senior thesis. There are myriad other opportunities for Stonehill Biochemistry majors to get involved in honor societies, clubs and other organizations.

American Chemical Society Certification
To graduate with a certification from the American Chemical Society, a Stonehill Chemistry major must complete just a few additional courses beyond the College's degree requirements.
Chemistry/Biochemistry Club
An affiliate of the American Chemical Society, the Chemistry/Biochemistry Club is an active and award-winning group of students who organize several activities every year. Some recent examples are:

- General Chemistry Game Show
- Career Night
At Stonehill, I developed strong communication skills while teaching and tutoring other students as well as while performing independent research. Stonehill taught me that to change the things you want to change, you need to go above and beyond and stand apart from the crowd.
