Join us Friday, October 16 – Sunday, October 18 for Stonehill's Family Weekend!
Family Weekend is a time for family members of our Stonehill students to enjoy campus and experience what it’s like to be a Skyhawk! Participate in various events, athletic games, and different ways to engage with our campus community.
This website provides the event schedule and resources, as well as ticket information (as needed), to make Family Weekend a great experience! We will continue to update the schedule as events are added for the 2026 Family Weekend.

From the psychology behind team loyalty to why we love, or love to hate, certain fanbases, this interactive session will have you thinking about your own sports allegiances and maybe questioning a few of them along the way. We’ll explore how family, identity, community, and rivalries shape fandom, then connect those behaviors to the business and marketing of sport. Join the Wellness PEERS and local domestic violence center Family Community Resources for their annual Walk for Survivor Safety. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and this walk raises money for survivors, raises awareness, and spreads resources. We will have transportation from Stonehill if you are interested in travelling with the group, or you are welcome to meet us there.

Alumni Tailgate Tent
Advancement and Alumni Affairs will be hosting a tent at the tailgate before the football game vs. Duquesne. We will have coffee, light refreshments and sweets, and giveaways for the Built to Rise campaign! We hope students and families will stop by to say hello, learn more about Built to Rise, and have a snack as they walk around campus before the game.

Habitat for Humanity Car Smash

The Disney Leadership Experience engages a cohort of students from all class years in both on-campus leadership workshops and an immersive leadership workshop series at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. Students selected to take part in this program cover all costs. More on the program can be found HERE.
All proceeds from this raffle will support the students in this program and offset program costs. The raffle is now open and will conclude on Sunday, October 18. Raffle tickets are $1 per ticket, 6 for $5, or 15 for $10. Tickets can be purchased at the Office of Student Engagement, the Information Desk in the Roche Commons during Family Weekend, and at the Family Weekend evening social events on Friday and Saturday nights.
Raffles will be drawn on Monday, October 19, and winners will be notified via email. Prizes can be picked up in the Office of Student Engagement by the winners or their representative. Some prizes may be mailed.
