Meet the Directors

Rebekah Louis

director of graduate teacher education
Rebekah Louis, Ed.D., has taught in higher education for nearly a decade, drawing upon her many years of experience as a teacher in the public schools. Her research focuses on the clinical experience aspect of teacher preparation, including investigating how technology use in clinical preparation impacts teacher candidates’ experiences and the impact of placement factors on teacher candidates’ clinical experiences.

Kristin McGillicuddy

Marketing Program Director
Kristin McGillicuddy has 24 years of marketing experience with senior marketing and higher education positions. Her experience includes management and consulting work in the areas of marketing strategy, product development, business development, innovation, integrated marketing communications, sales, marketing research and brand management.

Cheryl Schnitzer

photonics certificate program director
Cheryl Schnitzer, Ph.D., has a background in lasers and spectroscopy. Professor Schnitzer and Professor Ruby (Guiru) Gu oversee an active femtosecond laser research group and are among the leaders in Massachusetts in the up-and-coming field called integrated photonics. Professor Schnitzer was honored to be an invited speaker for TEDxStonehillCollege, “We Are in a Photonics Revolution.”
