Two Schools. Endless Possibilities.

Stonehill’s commitment to educating the whole person comes to life through the May School of Arts & Sciences and the Meehan School of Business. Together, these two schools shape our academic community, blending intellectual discovery, ethical leadership and real-world preparation across every program.

  • May School of Arts & Sciences

The Thomas and Donna May School of Arts & Sciences brings together Stonehill College’s core disciplines and departments to provide a comprehensive four-year learning experience that fosters insightful collaboration and prepares students to be critical thinkers and creative leaders in their chosen fields.

  • Meehan School of Business

The Leo J. Meehan School of Business is a school that thinks outside the business school box, blending a business education with a rigorous program in the liberal arts that emphasizes experiential learning, leadership opportunities and creative thinking to sharpen more than a student's business instincts.

Academic Programs of Study

With more than 100 undergraduate majors, minors and interdisciplinary programs, Stonehill offers the flexibility to shape an education that matches your goals and passions. Our graduate programs in business and education provide advanced pathways for career growth. Through the Skyhawk Accelerated Dual Degree Program, qualified students can earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in as little as four years—saving time and tuition.

3+1 and 4+1 Direct Entry

Apply simultaneously for undergraduate admission and admission to a Stonehill master’s degree program through our Dual Degree Direct Entry option and earn two degrees in as few as four years through the Skyhawk Accelerated Dual Degree Program. As an undergraduate, you can take two graduate courses at no cost, then receive a 20 percent tuition discount on your master’s degree through the Skyhawk Rate. This pathway makes earning an advanced degree faster and more affordable.

Experiential Learning Opportunities

At Stonehill College, every undergraduate is guaranteed a hands-on experience that brings classroom learning to life before graduation through the Experiential Education Guarantee (EEG). Whether through an internship, externship, co-op, service immersion, international experience, travel seminar, research project or creative endeavor, students commit to at least 50 hours of purposeful real-world engagement, applying intentional goals, reflecting on their growth and aligning with Stonehill’s mission of compassion and justice.

  • Internships, Externships & Co-ops

Students gain professional experience through internships and co-ops in a wide range of fields. These opportunities are available locally, in major cities such as Boston, New York and Washington, and even abroad. Short-term externships offer immersive opportunities to shadow professionals, build networks and explore potential career paths in real-world settings.

  • Study Abroad & Travel Seminars

Students can spend a semester studying abroad through a variety of academic programs around the world. Stonehill also offers travel seminars, which are 7 to 10 day academic experiences domestically or abroad. These programs bring a small cohort of students together with a faculty expert to explore a focused topic through on-site learning and cultural immersion.

  • Undergraduate Research

Through the Stonehill Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE), students work alongside faculty on intensive, faculty-mentored research projects during the summer. SURE supports academic inquiry, independent thinking and deeper learning in a wide range of disciplines.

100% Guaranteed. 100% Real-World Ready.
