Streaming Media Program

The Library is creating a streaming media collection to support curricular needs.

Currently, the Library subscribes to several large collections of streaming video content, and streaming music will be added shortly. These videos cover educational and instructional content across disciplines. Content from the Media Education Foundation (MEF), Films Media Group, and Jove has been purchased and individual titles will be added to HillSearch. For more information on the Library’s streaming media program, and these collections of streaming content, visit our LibGuide.

Additionally, we have access to thousands of feature films through Swank. We are able to purchase month- or semester-long licenses to titles within Swank’s Digital Campus Collection. If you have a title in mind, check the Digital Campus catalog and use this form to request that we obtain the title for your use.

We will also be purchasing additional content to add to our collection; if you have desired titles please let us know and we will investigate their availability. If you wish to make it easier for your students to find specific titles we have in our catalog, we can place streaming titles in eRES, in your eLearn page, and on a class LibGuide. To place a title on reserve please fill out this form or contact Jennifer Connelly, Joyce Vacchi, or Heather Perry.
