Autism Course: Self-Advocacy, Quality of Life & Transition
Taught by internationally renowned autistic self-advocate Stephen Shore, EdD, this course covers quality of life, support, and transition for autistic individuals. Educators will learn techniques to support students in transitioning to adulthood, including self-advocacy, educator allyship, family advocacy, person-centered planning, and transition planning. Higher education, career development, and independent living is also explored.
