Summer Housing
Summer 2026 Housing
The Office of Residence Life provides a limited amount of housing for students who are doing work study for an on-campus employer, participating in an internship, or participating in the SURE program. Space is limited. Housing is generally not available for students participating in summer courses or working in off-campus employment, and if approved would be billed at a higher rate.
To qualify for summer housing at Stonehill, you must meet at least one of the conditions listed below and be interning or working on campus.
Summer Housing Dates
May 25, 2026 - August 8, 2026 (subject to change)
Early arrivals or late stays outside of the above dates must be approved by Residence Life.
Residence Life may require students to move to temporary locations if approved for early arrival or late stay.
Summer Housing Application Requirements
Students may not move on campus for the summer until Residence Life has received the following:
- A completed summer housing application available in myHousing on April 1, 2026 and due on May 1, 2026
- Verification of your campus activity.
Summer Housing Eligibility
The Office of Residence Life will confirm your SURE or SURE Affiliate registration.
All internships should be registered in myHill.
For Credit Internship: The Office of Residence Life will confirm your internship through the Registrar's Office and you will not need to turn anything in. Please note that you will not receive housing until we have verified that your internship has been confirmed by the Registrar's Office.
Not-for-Credit Internship: You will need to provide proof that you are employed full time. For offices open 5 days per week, this should be for at least 35 hours per week. (For offices open 4 days per week, exceptions may be granted to consider 28 hours / week full-time; please contact the Office of Residence Life if this applies to you). Your proof of hire will need to be uploaded with your application in MyHousing.
Students will be emailed a hire form when they have been officially hired as a work study student. A copy of that email should be be uploaded with your application in MyHousing.
Students who will be interning with a faculty member or assisting with research should have the faculty member provide proof of hire and that the research will be occupying at least 35 hours/week. Your proof of hire will need to be uploaded with your application in MyHousing.
