Course Approval Form
Course Approval Process
Many courses require prerequisites or have restrictions which are noted in the course description and in the comment section of the course listing under the course title. Students who do not meet these requirements will not be able to register for that course.
A faculty member may make an exception and allow a student to waive the prerequisite or course restriction. In these cases, a student needs to submit a signed Course Approval Form to the Registrar's Office.
Steps
- Complete the Course Approval Form BELOW and click the "Submit" button.
- Your form confirmation will be sent to the email you entered (Registrar's Office does NOT receive a copy of this form!).
- Forward the email to the relevant faculty member to request approval or print the form and obtain a physical signature.
- Forward both the form and faculty approval emails to registrar@stonehill.edu for processing. Or for physical forms, return the form to the Registrar's Office in Duffy 112 or scan and email the signed form with faculty signature to registrar@stonehill.edu.
Note: Course approvals must be received and coded prior to a student's registration date/time in order to add the course yourself during your registration period. Approvals do not guarantee students a seat in the class, just the opportunity to join.
