What is IDEAS?

IDEAS is an innovative and unique program where students design and teach a course on any topic they are passionate about. After choosing a topic, you get to explore that topic with a small group of your peers in a collaborative learning environment, and earn credits for doing so! By teaching an IDEAS course, you take on the opportunity to explore and influence Stonehill’s academic curriculum.

  • Teach an IDEAS Course

    IDEAS classes are created, developed and facilitated by students. Given their small size, discussion- and activity-based format, and peer-to-peer dynamic, IDEAS classes offer a great opportunity to take intellectual risks and explore relevant, compelling topics in a comfortable environment.

    IDEAS offers a unique, innovative and flexible classroom experience. By enrolling in an IDEAS course, you take a fun and creative journey with dedicated student-instructors.
