Stonehill students may participate in Short-Term Global Programs during the summer or January term. Through partnerships with a variety of program providers, students can choose from experiences such as taking classes, interning, or conducting independent research in locations around the world.

While students do not apply or pay through Stonehill for these programs, the Global Education Office provides advising and support throughout the process. When participating in short-term programs, students may seek approval for credit transfer and fulfillment of the Experiential Education Guarantee requirement. Summer and J-Term programs offer a flexible pathway for students seeking a meaningful global learning experience without committing to a full semester abroad.

These programs are open to students of any class year and major. They are a great option for student athletes or majors with strict requirements.
