Global Learning Programs
Why Go Global?
Global learning experiences offer powerful ways to expand your education while building skills that matter beyond the classroom. Through global and off-campus pathways, students can:
- Develop intercultural competence by engaging with new cultures, perspectives, and, in many cases, new languages.
- Enhance academic learning by taking courses or completing experiences that are deeply connected to their location or context.
- Build transferable skills such as adaptability, leadership, independence, and critical thinking that support long-term personal and professional growth.
- Explore the world beyond campus, with opportunities to travel and engage more deeply during breaks or before and after your program.
Global Learning Pathways at Stonehill
Students have access to a variety of global learning pathways at Stonehill College. The Global Education Office advises students in choosing pathways that support their academic needs, personal interests, and professional goals. Students may choose to engage in more than one program throughout their Stonehill experience. Students can choose to use their global learning experience to fulfill the Experiential Education Guarantee (EEG)
You never really hear of people who regret going abroad, but you do hear about people who regret not going. No matter what, studying abroad allows you to learn something about yourself and a new culture at the same time.
