Stonehill Grad Receives President's Volunteer Service Award

May 1, 2017

Finding time to volunteer is not always easy, but Audrey del Rosario ’14, who works by day as a higher-education consultant for EAB, has dedicated herself to regular after-hours public service. Thanks to all the time she has put in at local non-profits and public programs in the Washington, D.C. area, she recently received a 2016 President’s Volunteer Service Award from the Government’s Corporation for National & Community Service.

Audrey's community service is a continuation of the work she did at Stonehill, including four years spent as her class communications coordinator in Student Government, her role as a Student Ambassador, her work through the Brothers and Sisters Program, and her efforts in founding the College's OxFam chapter.
