More than 80 women graduates attended the inaugural Alumnae Summit, which was keynoted by the President of the New York Academy of Medicine Judith Salerno, M.D. ’73 who offered insights and inspiration for self-empowerment, establishing work-life balance and defining one’s own success.
Meeting in the Shields Science Center on March 10, the attendees participated in breakout sessions on rejoining the work force, personal finance, increasing women’s influence, giving back and work-life balance. They also networked, had their resumes reviewed and got new photos taken for Linkedin. Plans are underway for another conference next year.
