ECONOMY UPDATEWhen America’s central bank, the Federal Reserve, recently cut borrowing costs for the first time in a decade, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston President Eric Rosengren dissented, seeing no “clear and compelling case” for the cuts. When he visits campus September 3, Rosengren will discuss the state of the U.S. economy at an opening event for the Meehan School of Business building. Get the details and register here

SOFT OPENINGNow opened and with faculty all moved in, the College held a soft opening for the Leo J. Meehan School of Business, the largest capital project in Stonehill history, on Friday afternoon. The building will be officially dedicated on September 19.
