Stonehill Day of Light and Hope is a celebration of our Stonehill spirit and the power of giving back.

The 2026 Stonehill Day of Light and Hope was a special opportunity for Stonehill students, alumni, parents, and friends to come together and show their support for their favorite Stonehill departments, programs, student organizations, and teams and to share how they are the Heart of the Hill.

Thanks to the generosity of the Stonehill community, this year’s Day of Light and Hope was a tremendous success!

By the Numbers

* More than $260,000 raised!
* 161% of donor goal achieved, surpassing our ambitious target.
* More than 800 donors, exceeding our 500-donor goal and making this one of our strongest giving days to date.

Support benefited scholarships, academics, athletics, student life, and mission & service programs.

Gifts came in from across the United States, with the highest participation from Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. We also received gifts from around the world, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, Australia and Uruguay.

Each gift—no matter the size—helps strengthen momentum for Stonehill 2030: Building Together, expanding opportunity, enhancing the student experience and investing in the College’s future.
