This event will include a screening of "144." Emmy Award-winning producers Lauren Stowell and Jenna Contreras will also join us for a panel discussion. Both the film and the talk will cover the experiences of 144 WNBA players who spent a whole summer in a COVID bubble during the early days of the pandemic. As they receive an inside look at the players' lives on and off the court, attendees will come to understand the ways in which women's activism, sport and the Black Lives Matter movement intersect.

This event is sponsored by the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion OfficeDepartment of Athletics and Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity, and Social Justice.
