About the Speaker
Kerrin Willis's books all take place in southern New England and are set around the real historical events that occurred here. Her first novel, Iron & Fire, follows a bright, opinionated young woman living in Taunton during King Philip's War in the late 1600s. Her second novel, Strange Arithmetic, takes place between 1945 and 2016, and follows Maggie, a young woman who falls in love with an Italian POW while working at a U.S. military embarkation camp in Taunton, and Niamh, a woman searching for answers about her past in order to better understand her future.
