Two years after his spinal cord injury, Matt Brown ’16 came to Stonehill as a first-year student and, in the intervening years, he has left a positive impression on his peers and on the campus. For their class gift, the seniors created a scholarship in honor of Matt and in tribute to his perseverance. Thursday, March 3, was declared Matt Brown Day and the outpouring of support was overwhelming. Gifts to the scholarship keep coming in and not just from the members of the senior class but also from parents, alumni, faculty and staff.
