All returning student-athletes will need to have their amateurism status certified through the Division I initial eligibility requirements. The Compliance Office will initiate this review and will contact any individual student-athlete who may be required to take further action toward meeting this requirement.

Yes, we want what is best for you. Contact your head coach regarding this decision and next steps. If you decide to transfer, contact the Compliance Office for information on entering the transfer portal, transfer rules and any impact on your eligibility.

Yes. All athletic scholarship renewals are reviewed annually by the Head Coach and as long as the athletic scholarship requirements are met, the athletic scholarship will be renewed. Contact your head coach if you have any questions or concerns.

Yes, it is our intent to have every student-athlete continue to compete as a member of their team. All roster decisions will continue to be made by the head coach, and you should speak with them if you have any questions or concerns.

Academics

While the DI academic eligibility criteria are like Division II, the Compliance Office will look at academic eligibility rules and contact any individual student-athlete who does not meet this academic eligibility criteria.

Student-athletes whose academic eligibility may be impacted for Fall 2022 will be contacted by the Compliance Office immediately following the spring semester.
