Juris Doctorate in Law at The Catholic University of America
The Catholic University of America and Stonehill College have arranged for the direct-entry admission of qualified Stonehill students to pursue a doctorate in law at the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America (CUA). There are two pathways for qualified students:
- A 3+3 pathway in which Stonehill students spend three years at Stonehill and then three years at Columbus School of Law, located in Washington, D.C., with credits earned at the successful completion of the first year of law school transferring back to Stonehill to satisfy final graduation requirements.
- A 4+3 pathway in which Stonehill students matriculate at Columbus School of Law after having graduated from Stonehill

- Preferred admission without the competition of the rest of the applicant pool
Qualifications
- Third-year students (juniors) or fourth-year students (graduating seniors)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.60 by end of the third year for juniors or minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 by end of the fourth year for seniors
- Score above the 66th percentile on the the Law School Admission Test (LSAT)
- Remain in good academic and disciplinary standing
- Meet all of the fitness, character and other criteria for admission required by the Office of Admission of the Columbus School of Law
