Find People in Office 365

With Office 365, Stonehill students, faculty and staff are all on the same email system. This makes finding the person you need to contact easy. The People feature in Office 365 makes finding that person even better!

Whether it’s your personal contact list or the Global Address List (often called the directory), everyone is accessible from Office 365. Learn more in the People overview, and be sure to follow a previous Tuesday Tip to Show off a Profile Picture on Office 365 .  This will give those that look for you in People a face to go along with the name.

In the Outlook desktop software, you can use the Search People box in the upper right of the Mail view to easily find someone. Selecting the user will display their Contact Card. This puts a contacts details in one convenient place: email address, phone number, office location, job title, and their availability.

You can even send an email, chat or begin a video conference with someone right from their Contact Card, which is also accessible when hovering over a contacts name in Outlook. Learn more about the Contact Card and what it can do for you.
