Yet another malicious phishing email was recently sent to people at Stonehill, and some accounts were compromised when the recipients entered their passwords into the fake website. So today we'd like to remind you how to stay safe from phishing attempts. If you think you fell victim to one of the recent attempts please change your password immediately and contact email@example.com.
Never click on links or attachments sent to you from email addresses you don't recognize or trust. Also, remember that the Department of Information Technology will never send a link in an email that takes you directly to a login page or asks for your password.
Take a quick look at our Phishing Awareness page for some simple tips that can help keep your password safe, and if you have any questions or need assistance, contact the IT Service Desk at 508-565-4357 (HELP) or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
