For the month of May, our Tuesday Tips will focus on how all of us can do our part to support the Stonehill Goes Green sustainability initiative.
Dimming your computer’s display may not seem like it has a huge impact, but over time, the energy savings will add up. If you are using a mobile device, dimming the display will extend its battery life, giving you more usage before recharging.
If your computer has a screen saver, turn it off. Allowing the display to sleep or turning it off when you aren’t using it will also save energy. Use the Control Panel on Windows devices and System Preferences on the Mac to manage your display brightness and screen saver settings. If you are on a mobile device, use the Settings to manage the brightness.
