Senior Retreat

Senior Retreat is the culminating retreat in our program, allowing students-as they enter into their last semester at Stonehill-to reflect on where they have been and where they are going.

Senior Retreat

Each January, the Office of Campus Ministry hosts a retreat exclusively for our Senior students as they begin their last semester at Stonehill. This retreat is rooted in principles of reflection, prayer, and community and is designed to help students spiritually prepare for this time of significant transition. Based on the writings of Henri Nouwen, Jesuit Priest and prolific spiritual writer of the 20th century, the theme "Reaching Out" helps students to look within themselves as they prepare to respond to a complex and often broken world.

Details for the 2018 retreat are below:

  • Dates: January 26-28, 2018
  • Location: Camp Toah Nipi, Rindge, NH
  • Cost: $35/person which includes transportation, food, and lodging
  • What to bring: Warm clothes, toiletries, and an openness to the movement of the Spirit

All Senior students are invited to attend regardless of faith background or previous experience with retreats or Campus Ministry programs. Never participated in a Campus Ministry program, never too late to start! Conversation will revolve around the role God plays on our spiritual journey and Mass will be celebrated on Sunday morning before departing form the retreat center.
