The Strategic Plan

Stonehill's strategic plan is a product of the College's long-range plan. Spanning 2021 through 2025, the strategic plan calls for Stonehill to engage every student in a 21st century curriculum that prepares them for lives of meaning and purpose.

As we embrace the initiatives outlined in our strategic plan, we embark together on a vision for the future. Staying true to our core mission of educating hearts and minds, we will capitalize on the promise of tomorrow as we endeavor to bring about a more just and compassionate world.

The strategic plan contains initiatives that contribute to one or more of the following themes:

Expanding Academic Programs

Stonehill will expand bachelor’s and master’s degree program offerings in fields with growing student interest and rewarding career paths.

Promoting Student Life and Success

Students will enjoy expanded opportunities to engage in the life of the College as members of a community that challenges, encourages and equips them to succeed at Stonehill and beyond.

Building a Diverse and Inclusive Community

Stonehill will continue to build a more diverse and inclusive community that respects the inherent dignity of each person and that lives out the ideals of the mission of the College.

Fostering an Effective, Mission-Driven Organization

Faculty and staff will preserve the core of Stonehill’s mission while endeavoring to lead, innovate and collaborate in ways that meet the demands of an ever-changing environment.

Measuring Success

The College has identified a number of key input and outcome goals by which we will measure our success as we implement the strategic plan.
