Expectations
In addition to mentoring and helping new students become oriented to Stonehill College, ABS Leaders are also expected to do the following:
- Attend and support planning of IXP I and IXP II
- Attend, present and/or support the IGNITE Conference on Diversity and Inclusion
- Attend, present or support the Office of Intercultural Affairs in planning two heritage month programs and two additional major programs for the academic year
- Participate in community service projects
Examples of Major Program Include:
- National First-Generation College Celebration
- Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil
- Intercultural Affairs Book Club
- Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Service
- Student of Color Empowerment Dinner
- Lead4Justice Conference
- DiverCity Festival
- Unity Graduation Celebration
