Take Back the Night
Take Back The Night Foundation’s global mission is to end all forms of sexual violence, including sexual assault, sexual abuse, trafficking, stalking, gender harassment, and relationship violence, and to support survivors in their healing journeys. In 2023, the Stonehill Chapter of Take Back the Night was founded by Stonehill students.
Take Back the Night is a student-run club that provides resources, education, and awareness around sexual assault prevention on campus. The club hosts events throughout the year that highlight topics including consent, safety, self-care, and support for survivors. The Take Back the Night March is an annual event at Stonehill College where community members come together and stand in solidarity against sexual violence and express support for survivors. The march is held in April in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month.
