Consent
Consent is a clear, voluntary, and mutual agreement to engage in sexual activity. It must be given by all participants and can be withdrawn at any time.
What is consent?
- A clear, enthusiastic "yes."
 - Consent is voluntary and cannot be forced or coerced.
 - Consent is specific and cannot be assumed based on previous experiences.
 - Consent must be given by someone who is legally capable of consenting.
 - Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
 
What is not consent?
- Silence or lack of resistance
 - Coercion, intimidation, or threats
 - Past consent
 - Consent given by someone who is incapacitated by substances
 
What happens if consent is violated?
- Sexual activity without consent is a criminal act.
