Fr. Raymond J Clancy
March 3rd 1894 - August 18, 1964
Born March 3, 1894 Father Clancy, a teacher for many years, was a resident of the Holy Cross House, Notre Dame, since he became ill in 1961. A member of the Eastern Province of the Congregation of Holy Cross, he received his M.A. degree in 1932 from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Portland. Fr. Raymond was a skilled writer, and was well known for his published works, The Congregation of Holy Cross in the Vicariate Apostolic Of Eastern Bengal, and American Prelates in the Vatican Council. Fr. Clancy passed at 70 in St. Joseph Hospital on August 18th, 1964.
