Fr. Raymond Conmy

1919 - 1973

Fr. Conmy, ordained June 13th 1947,  was one of four brothers in the priesthood. His first Mass was celebrated at Holy Savior Church in the East End. He was a priest for 27 years and served on the Mission Band of North Dartmouth, MA. He also served as a chaplain in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 until 1958 with the 58th Fighter Bomber Wing in Korea. Following his release from service, he returned to North Dartmouth, MA, and was at St. John’s Church for the last two years of his life. Fr. Conmy suffered a fatal heart attack while vesting for Mass.
