APEX Summer Residential Program at University of South Carolina

The Application Preparation EXtreme (APEX) summer residential camp is an intensive five-day program designed to assist upper-class pre-med students prepare for their med school application. The program includes a human cadaver dissection, shadowing in the hospitals, personal statement workshop, interview skills practice and two simulated med school interviews for each participant. This opportunity will help highly-motivated students learn how to showcase their abilities, skills, and motivation throughout the application process to med school. One must have sixty hours of earned college credit to attend.

SURE Program

The Stonehill Undergraduate Research Experience, or SURE, is an opportunity for Stonehill students to perform significant, publishable full time research under the guidance of and in collaboration with an experienced faculty member.  All SURE Scholars and faculty mentors receive a stipend for an eight or ten-week full time summer session.  Applications for the summer program are made jointly by the student and the faculty mentor and are due at the beginning of December for the upcoming summer.
