Stonehill College’s business program was recently named one of the best in the United States by Bloomberg, which surveyed nearly 30,000 students and 600 companies to determine the best undergraduate business schools of 2016.

The College’s Business Administration Department was 73rd in the nation in the overall rankings and the its internship program was ranked 23rd.  Internships have long been a strong suit for the College. Working with business faculty and the Office of Career Services, Stonehill students consistently secure high-value internships at some of the most successful companies in the country, including Google, Facebook, Goldman Sachs and all of the major accounting firms.

This is just the latest accolade for the College’s business program.  Stonehill is also one of only 42 undergraduate institutions worldwide to have earned accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), a distinction that signifies a high quality program and one that is valued by both employers and business graduate schools.

“Combined with our AACSB accreditation and many other honors, this most recent accolade should give students an idea of just how much they could accomplish at Stonehill,” said Professor Debra Salvucci, department chair.

In addition, the Department's Finance Program is a member of the Chartered Finance Analyst Institute's University Recognition Program, which recognizes schools for incorporating into its curriculum at least 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge and for emphasizing the CFA Institute's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
