Casey, of Londonderry, New Hampshire, was awarded the Communication Faculty Service Award. Casey hopes to be a college admission counselor and support high school students as they navigate the college application process.

“Stonehill has taught me how to speak up for things I believe in; I feel well-versed in advocating for change and justice,” said Casey. “Stonehill's mission is to educate the mind but not at the expense of the heart and I think that focus is what makes me so prepared to be a leader who can impact the world.”

While at Stonehill, Casey was accepted into the Lambda Epsilon Sigma (LES) and Lambda Pi Eta honor societies. Her leadership roles include Resident Hall Association president, Student Alumni Association vice president, student ambassador in Lux et Spes Society for the Office of Undergraduate Admission, news editor for The Summit, student representative for the Student Conduct Board, HOPE Program participant in Peru and New Orleans and a teaching assistant for Mediated Communication.
