Stonehill College header

Dear Stonehill Community,

As the pandemic continues, I write to share information and guidance related to vaccines, pre-arrival testing, surveillance testing and masking during the spring semester.

Vaccines and Boosters

The College maintains a high campus COVID-19 vaccination rate of 96%. Vaccination is the best defense against COVID-19. For the spring semester, the College will require you to get a booster shot if you are eligible based on the date of the completion of your initial vaccination or as instructed by your medical provider. Learn more about booster shot eligibility and how to upload your updated vaccination information here

Pre-Arrival Testing

The College will require a pre-arrival test at the start of the spring semester. Students and employees may test on-site (see testing hours below). We encourage you to test at your earliest convenience during the dates listed.

Students testing off-campus: If you do not live near campus, please consider securing a rapid antigen test as soon as possible as availability of tests may be limited in some areas. Rapid Antigen or PCR test must be taken within seven days prior to your arrival on campus and results must be uploaded before your return to campus. Please write your name, the date and time you took the test on the test card prior to uploading a photo of the result to the Stonehill College Health Services portal (you must be logged in to your MyHill account to access your personal health portal).

Masking and Additional Protocols

The College will continue following CDC guidance and Massachusetts Department of Public Health guidance with respect to best practices for masking, social distancing, isolation and quarantine protocols. As such, the College’s current protocols shall remain in place. Additional questions, please review our health and safety information.

If you have tested positive during the winter break, please report that information to COVID-19 Testing Center Coordinator Monique Avila at mavila@stonehill.edu.

Any changes to the current protocols will be communicated as soon as possible. We appreciate your continued patience and perseverance. We wish you a happy holiday season and a successful start to the spring semester.
