SPORTS EXTRASports aficionado Leah Carter ’18 didn’t realize she could combine her fandom with her desire to study marketing, until a minor in sport commerce and culture at Stonehill allowed her to break into the competitive sports industry while receiving a well-rounded education. MEEHAN BY THE NUMBERSThree-stories high and covering 63,450 square feet, the Leo J. Meehan School of Business building will open right on time for the new academic year, which begins August 27. With exterior work completed, workers are putting finishing touches to the interior and faculty and staff will soon move be moving in. Counting down to opening, we have some fast facts on our newest building. Check them out 

CAMP SHRIVERSixty-two local children, with and without disabilities, are currently enjoying an inclusive summer sports program on campus through Camp Shriver. Now in its seventh year at Stonehill, the Camp develops children’s motor and social skills while fostering positive peer relationships. Our students and recent alumni serve as counselors, coaches, and co-directors. See photos 

FAMILY PRAYER MUSEUMOn September 15, Rev. Willy Raymond, C.S.C. ’67, president of Holy Cross Family Ministries (HCFM) in Easton, will oversee the opening of a Museum of Family Prayer at HCFM’s headquarters on Washington Street. The Museum is inspired by the life and mission of famed Rosary Priest, the Venerable Fr. Patrick Peyton, C.S.C. Take a look
