Alumni Council Scholarship

I cannot even begin to express how happy I was to receive such benevolent support for my higher education. As the first member of my family to attend college, your generosity helped reduce my financial burdens and helped me plan my years at Stonehill. As I embark upon my journey as a senior at Stonehill, my appreciation for the financial grants has grown because I have been able to concentrate on my education and further plan my future. This would not have been possible without such kind and generous scholarship donors like you. I feel privileged to have been awarded this scholarship.

Stonehill has given me great opportunities to grow over the past 4 years. Not only have I grown academically, but Stonehill has also fostered independence, strengthened my confidence, and nurtured my faith. It has also provided me with the opportunity to have an on-campus job that enhanced my communication skills through answering phones and interacting with students, faculty and staff. I have joined many clubs and had the opportunity to lead in two of them. Since my first tour, I knew Stonehill was the place for me. It is an inclusive, diverse community where I have been welcomed and accepted. I am blessed to call Stonehill my second home and I am grateful for what it has provided!

The support from scholarships has given me the opportunity to stay at Stonehill for all 4 years. Stonehill has truly become my second home, and I probably would not be here without the scholarships from generous donors. It means a lot to me that people are so willing to give back to the Stonehill community, and I hope that someday I can as well.
