The Louise F. Hegarty Excellence in Teaching Award
The Louise F. Hegarty Award for Excellence in Teaching is given each year to a full-time faculty member whose teaching has had a marked influence on the lives of Stonehill students. The recipient stands as a symbol of the entire faculty’s commitment to academic excellence.

Outstanding Faculty Service Leadership Award
Established in 2007, the Outstanding Faculty Service Leadership Award is given to a full-time faculty member whose service has significantly advanced the mission of Stonehill College.

Outstanding Faculty Advising & Mentorship Award
This honor is given to a full-time faculty member who demonstrates Stonehill’s commitment to the academic, professional and personal development of each student and has had a markedly positive influence on students through their advising and mentoring.

Award for Excellence in Teaching by Adjunct Faculty
This recognition is given to a part-time faculty member to acknowledge the invaluable dedication and expertise that adjunct faculty bring to our classrooms and to recognize the impact they have on our students' lives.

The Gaudete Medal
Since 1983, Stonehill College has awarded the Gaudete Medal to faculty, staff and administrators who achieve 20 years of committed service to the institution.

Michael Horne Award for Distinguished Faculty Scholarship
The Office of Academic Affairs may select a Distinguished Faculty Scholar to recognize a member of the faculty for singular accomplishment in the area of research. Faculty members so recognized are asked to give collegial lectures on the subject of their research at celebratory events on campus.
