Biography

Kristin McGillicuddy has decades of teaching experience at Stonehill College in both the undergraduate and graduate marketing programs. Her work with students extends beyond the classroom and includes mentoring, networking and developing internship programs with local companies. She is currently a full-time professor in the graduate marketing program and also directs Stonehill’s graduate business administration programs, including Data Analytics, Marketing, and MBA.

In addition to teaching, McGillicuddy has three decades of marketing experience with senior marketing and higher education positions at companies like Kids II, Marketing Advocate, Dorel Juvenile Group, The First Years, Princess House, Product Insight, Aqua Leisure, Goodbaby International, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Pet Food Experts and KVH. Her experience includes management and consulting work in the areas of marketing strategy, product development, business development, digital marketing, innovation, integrated marketing communications, marketing research, sales and brand management. She has presented to major retailers like Walmart, Target, Toys R Us and Amazon.com. Her past work includes collaboration with cross-functional teams in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. Industries and areas of expertise include consumer goods, direct selling, pet food and supplies, specialty foods, outdoor recreation equipment, juvenile products, and maritime connectivity.

McGillicuddy continues marketing practice work through consulting projects in areas like social media, content marketing and marketing strategy. She also volunteers as a marketing consultant to local small businesses and non-profits and conducts LinkedIn workshops for student groups and business organizations.
