Biography
Professor of Practice in Finance Joseph D. Foresi has over 20 years of experience in understanding, analyzing and leading public and private companies with a focus on creating stakeholder value.
He recently utilized his expertise to drive shareholder value through the investor relations program at Accenture. Before joining the team, he built and led an M&A origination team responsible for driving acquisitions aligned with corporate strategy.
Before his corporate career, he worked on Wall Street as an equity analyst where he was ranked the top analyst of the decade based on his stock-picking performance. He was a Managing Director of the Technology group at Cantor Fitzgerald where his coverage included Business Services, FinTech, and Technology. Prior to Cantor, he spent a decade building his reputation in equity research at Janney Montgomery Scott.
Foresi graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Northeastern University, and a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island where his thesis focused on valuation’s role in the investment process. He has academic publications and teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate level. He has been quoted in media publications and made numerous public appearances including CNBC.
