Biography

Jen Connelly has worked in the Circulation Department at the MacPhaidin Library for the past 15 years as one of the two daytime Circulation Assistants. She is responsible for creating and maintaining Print and Electronic Reserves accounts and course pages for faculty in the disciplines of ‘History & Philosophy of Science’ through ‘Writing’. Besides taking care of reserves, she assists with the supervision of the Circulation Department’s 30+ student workers and helps to oversee the daily operations at the Circulation Desk. Jen also edits the Circulation web pages for the library website as information and policies change.

Over the years, Jen has been a member of the Staff Liaison committee with HR, helped coordinate the celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the MacPhaidin Library, worked on the library’s E-reader/E-book pilot program and is currently a member of the MacPhaidin Library’s Assessment & Marketing Teams.

Stonehill College has been a part of Jen’s life for the past 24 years. After graduating in 1994 with a B.A. in Education, Jen married fellow alum, Christopher Connelly (’94), at the Chapel of Mary here on campus in 1995. Jen enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Jen also likes reading suspense novels, solving crossword puzzles and vacationing at the beach.
