Jeanne Finlayson has served as the Vice President for Finance and Treasurer since 2006. In this capacity she serves as an officer of the corporation directly reporting to the Board of Trustees on all financial areas and is the liaison to the Board of Trustees Audit, Finance and Investment Committees. 

Finlayson oversees the College’s budget, endowment and benefits programs. Additionally, she oversees Strategic Planning, Information Technology, Financial Aid, Purchasing/Auxiliary Services, Accounting Services, Campus Police, Facilities Management and Construction.

Finlayson has worked in higher education for over 30 years. She began her career with Bentley University in their budget office, before moving to Newbury College’s finance office. She later assumed the position of Assistant Vice President for Finance at Wheaton College, where she served for 13 years before coming to Stonehill.  

Outside of her work with the College, Finlayson serves on several boards. She is Vice Chair for the Massachusetts Association of Nonprofit Schools & Colleges, Vice President for NEEIA Compensation Inc., and board member for the Holy Cross Family Ministries Foundation.  

Finlayson received her bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University and her master’s degree from Boston College.
