Christina Burney

Biography

Christina Burney is the Executive Director for Student Success and oversees the Navigation Center, bringing together Accessibility Services, Academic Advising, Career Development, International Programs, and Tutoring Services to provide integrated academic support and professional development for students.

Prior to moving into this role, Christina worked in the Career Development Center at Stonehill for 13 years, serving four of those years as the Director. After graduating from Susquehanna University with a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications, Christina began her professional career as a college recruiter where she stayed for seven years. In 2007 Christina joined the Office of Career Services at Stonehill College as an Associate Director. During a brief time away from Stonehill, Christina served as Assistant Vice President in University Relations for State Street Corporation.

Christina’s constant focus on student success allows her to work at all levels of the College to examine policy and practice, to contribute to committees and working groups, and to interface with students one-on-one, while focusing on holistic success through the services and programs available to students through the Navigation Center for Student Success.
