Caroline F. Echevarria
Senior Instructional Designer
Caroline F. Echevarría (she/her) serves as a Senior Instructional Designer on the Educational Technology Team within the Department of Information Technology. A proud Stonehill alumna and Moreau Honors Program graduate, she earned her B.A. in French and Religious Studies with a minor in Secondary Education. Caroline holds a master's in education in instructional design and a graduate certificate in instructional and learning design from UMass Boston.
Before rejoining Stonehill, Caroline spent nearly five years as a senior instructional designer at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), where she partnered with faculty on all aspects of online learning and educational technology.
In her current role, Caroline collaborates with faculty to integrate research-based best practices into online course design and development. She also works with Academic Affairs to oversee the Online Teaching Certification (OTC) program and offers strategic guidance on online learning initiatives across the College.
Stonehill holds special meaning for Caroline. In addition to being an alumna herself, her late grandfather, Albert J. Birmingham, was among the College's first graduating class in 1954. Outside of work, she is a proud mom and cherishes time spent with her family and friends.
