Biography

Ali Mohammed Bazarah is an assistant professor of management information systems. He has several years of experience using visualization techniques for data analysis, undertaking projects focused on system analysis and design, and working with geographic information systems. He designed the “LA Travelers” app, which provides guidance to those visiting Los Angeles. His scholarly work has appeared in publications like Perspectives of Innovations, Economics and Business. 

Prior to working at Stonehill, Bazarah served as an adjunct lecturer at California State University, Long Beach. He taught information systems courses at the undergraduate level. He also facilitated a system analysis and design course for graduate students.  

Bazarah’s education has taken him all over the world. He earned doctorate and master’s degrees in Information Systems and Technology from Claremont Graduate University in California. He received a Master of Business Administration degree from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, located in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. While there, he also served as an alumni relations coordinator for the institution. He completed a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems at the University of Science and Technology in Sana’a, Yemen.
