Mental health issues in the criminal Justice system

A large number of individuals involved in the criminal justice system, including juveniles and adults, suffer from mental health issues. Through a panel of judges, mental health clinicians, prosecutors and defense counsel, we will discuss and examine current issues and trends related to criminal responsibility, competency, diversion, sentencing and mental health specialty courts.
