Ever wanted to publish a book but never knew where to start? In this workshop, author Tanner Walling '24 will walk attendees through his writing and publishing journey and guide them on how to utilize the publishing tools that made him successful.
About the Speaker
Tanner Walling is an Amazon bestselling author of middle-grade and young adult thrillers, including the middle-grade disaster thriller series, Fury of the Storm Adventures. Born, raised, and educated in Massachusetts, while spending summers on Florida’s Space Coast, he currently resides in his home state, where he is attending college in pursuit of a degree in communication and history.
Tanner entered the world of writing at the age of eleven through the creation of his science website, which amassed a readership in the tens of thousands and was used in classrooms across the world. A few years later, he made the jump to fiction, publishing Fury of the Storm, the heavily meteorology-inspired first installment in his Fury of the Storm Adventures series, just weeks shy of his fourteenth birthday.
