Fall 2025 Scholar Series: Professor Kevin R. Carriere
The Stonehill faculty member will explore the psychology of why people back unions in theory but hesitate in practice.

About the Program
In the aftermath of COVID, people began to rethink their relationship with work. Unions capitalized on this with a resurgence in public support. Yet, this support failed to translate into equal union growth.
During this talk, Assistant Professor of Psychology Kevin R. Carriere will demonstrate how identity, ideology and everyday narratives about work shape our willingness to stand together.
Sponsored by the MacPháidín Library, this program is free and open to all. Light refreshments will be provided courtesy of the Office of Academic Affairs.
