Blessing of the Pets
St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals and the environment. Christians everywhere celebrate the feast of St. Francis of Assisi by having their pets blessed in the spirit of this saint.
Alumni Chaplain Anthony Szakaly, C.S.C., invites Stonehill alumni to bring their pets to campus on Sunday, October 6 for a special prayer service and blessing.
All animals must be under the control of their owners at all times (i.e. leashed, crated, carried, caged, harnessed, etc.) and are the responsibility of the owner. Please be courteous and bring only well behaved and sociable pets. Attendees are also invited to bring photos of their pets if the pets are unable to attend for any reason.
This event is sponsored by the Office of Advancement.
